If you will be flying from the UK to start your Sherpa walking or
cycling holiday, you could save yourself money by booking a 'land
only' package with Sherpa, and then booking your own flights with
one of the new 'budget' airlines.
Simply ask us for a 'land only' price for your preferred tour and
then check out the airline websites. (call us on 020 8577 2717 or
email sales@sherpaexpeditions.com)
The so called 'budget' airlines are offering some very good rates on
flights to destinations in Europe, for instance last year one of our
clients managed to get a flight to Pisa, for our Treasures of
Tuscany Walk, for £7 each way with Ryan Air, which amounted to a
considerable saving on his holiday.
The reason that we don't price our holidays using these airlines,
and we can't book these airlines for you is that they will
only sell direct to the public, not to tour operators. There
prices vary enormously, but there are definately some bargins to be
had.
Below is a list of the Airlines, and the airports they fly to
which would be suitable for starting a Sherpa tour.
